Overview
The Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre (MMTTC), Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati, is organizing an Online Refresher Course in Chemistry for faculty members of Higher Education Institutions. The course aims to update participants with recent advancements in Chemical Sciences, emerging research trends, innovative pedagogical practices, digital technologies, and interdisciplinary applications of Chemistry. The programme is designed in alignment with the vision of NEP-2020, Outcome-Based Education, and contemporary research and innovation ecosystems.
Objectives
The course aims to:
- Update faculty members on recent developments and emerging areas in Chemical Sciences;
- Enhance teaching-learning competencies through innovative and technology-enabled pedagogical approaches;
- Promote interdisciplinary and research-oriented perspectives in Chemistry education;
- Strengthen skills in research methodology, scientific writing, publication ethics, and intellectual property rights;
- Encourage the adoption of green chemistry, sustainability, and industry-relevant practices;
- Familiarize participants with digital tools, computational methods, and AI-enabled applications in Chemistry.
