Overview

Artificial Intelligence is transforming the landscape of higher education by revolutionizing teaching, learning, research, academic administration, and knowledge creation. In alignment with the vision of the NEP-2020, this one-week online UGC-Sponsored Short-Term Course on "AI in Education and Research: Enhancing Teaching and Knowledge Creation (Batch-II) organized by the Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre (MMTTC), Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati, is designed to equip educators with the knowledge, skills, and ethical understanding necessary to harness AI technologies for innovative pedagogy, high-quality research, personalized learning, and enhanced academic productivity.

The course provides comprehensive exposure to Generative AI, AI-powered teaching and assessment tools, intelligent research assistants, prompt engineering, AI-assisted academic writing, research integrity, digital scholarship, and emerging applications of AI in higher education. Through expert lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on sessions, participants will develop competencies to integrate AI responsibly into teaching, research, and institutional practices while fostering innovation, critical thinking, and lifelong learning.

  • Develop AI literacy by understanding the concepts, principles, applications, opportunities, and limitations of Artificial Intelligence in higher education.
